Touchdown and dress up...

Whew!  The last week of a selling month for a medical sales rep can be pretty exhausting, it is always a race to the finish and I ended the week absolutely EXHAUSTED!  Finally!  We all got to go as a family to watch Ben play flag football, this is the first time he didn't cry!  It was FREEZING and soooo windy, I had the babies bundled up like the Three little Bears :)  Ben scored a touchdown!  He was so cute, he kept looking over to make sure we were paying attention.  What a doll, can't believe how big he is getting...

Making sure I am watching!

TOUCHDOWN!

The kids love to dress up in random things...they were cracking me up this weekend, and of course I had my camera handy.  By the way, these are things they came up with all by themselves.  I am trying to reorganize my house and weed out unwanted things.  I am thinking about doing a big garage sale in a few weeks.  My kids are finally to the point now where I can actually get a few things done while they play.  They crack me up playing under and in our bed.  Adam is so cute he gets on our bed and covers himself up and snuggles in like such a little cutie!  After all, I got a few extra things done over the weekend (along with the normal million loads of laundry) and spent Sunday evening catching up with great friends over a delicious dinner!  Now, if we can just clear up those runny little noses...

Snuggling in :)

I Love Fall

I Love the Fall Season and the many things that are associated with it...PERFECT running weather, pumpkin scented candles, fall colors, mums, cool nights, chili and warm crock pot meals... Benjamin expected that I would decorate after he saw that some of our neighbors had. I decided that I would decorate for the kids enjoyment, even though I was planning on skipping it this year.  Actually, I really enjoy it too, and had fun doing it.  I wanted to surprise Ben when he came home from school on Friday by decorating. He definitely approved!  He said "Mommy, I love our spoooky house!" It is so funny how the simplest things excite kids.  Ben and I also visited a local farmer's market over the weekend where he helped me pick out the most beautiful pink/purple mums and some pumpkins.  He was my big helper.  Thought I would share some photos...

Oh, and about those crock pot meals....it was a really rainy and cold weekend, perfect for a roast in the crock pot...turned out great!  It was a hit with the kids, you just never know.  I mean, I can cook the most kid friendly meal and they will shun it.  I loooove to cook, but I love things that cook themselves too.  I definitely had a few other things on my plate this weekend!

I don't like sitting the kids in front of the TV all weekend while we are forced to be inside due to weather.   They love to color and looked so cute all sitting at the bar in our kitchen :)
Ummmm...Yes, Adam is without a shirt, he tried to drink my water that was on the kitchen table while we were cleaning up from dinner and guess what happened?  The next thing I knew Ben was saying "Why is Adam all wet?"  Seriously, you cannot turn your back even for a second!

AND...after Ben came to me with an army man who had a broken foot, I assured him that all would be ok...
I reattached the limb and told Mr. Army Man "rest and elevation" were in order...
Ok, I know I am being silly but I was so proud of how good I fixed the foot, I mean with the field I work in and everything, I should have been an orthopaedic surgeon!....Anyways, Ben was standing watching me fix it and when I finished I said to him "See! Just like new!  What do you think Buddy?"  and as I was standing there with my camera taking pictures of this ridiculous army man, his response was "Can I have some candy corn?" And...this was his face...Thanks a lot Ben!

Silly Boy!

Wow! Time has flown by!

I can't believe the Triplets are 2!  These pics were taken when they were about 8 weeks old.
When things are crazy, I just try to remind myself how blessed we really are.  Everyone is healthy and I couldn't be more Thankful!

On with the Paint!

The Triplet's Grandma Jan got them an art easel for their 2nd Birthday, it was a rainy day so what better time to try it out...By the way, I can't believe they are 2....the time has flown, it has gone by in a blur.  They loved painting, Adam got a little upset when it was time to clean up!
